In Memory of Karim Rayess...
Founded in 2005, Tamanna is a non-profit organization that grants the wishes of children with critical illnesses. Turning a wish into reality empowers a child to combat his illness, giving him hope and happiness in times of great stress and hardship. Any child between 3 and 18 years with a critical illness, residing or being treated in Lebanon, is eligible for a wish. Today, Tamanna serves 15 hospitals across the country. Wishes are served without regard to nationality, religion or socio-economic background. To date, Tamanna has granted over 1500 wishes at a rate of three per week. A wish granted is a powerful tool to help spirits rise, bringing a ray of sunshine into lives dominated by pain. A wish is that magic touch that will turn a suffering child's tears into laughter.

About Tamanna

Granting a wish

The procedure begins with us sending one of our enthusiastic members to learn the child's one true wish, after having been contacted by one of the fifteen hospitals we serve across the Lebanese territory.
These passionate volunteers connect with wish children and help explore their imaginations for the experience that will delight and inspire them. Our wish team creates an unforgettable experience driven by the child's creativity. It's an incredible experience that enriches not just the lives of the children and their families, but often an entire community.
The story behind Tamanna

Many have lost their smile. Because of you Karim Rayess, some will find it again...

Why Tamanna?

100% of donations go towards granting the wishes of children. We work very hard to keep our operating expenses at their lowest . These expenses are fully covered by sponsored events.
Price Waterhouse Coopers are in charge of auditing our accounts with the highest standards of governance and full transparency.
The power of a wish empowers the child to continue when things get tough; it is the source of hope where everything is possible.
To make a difference, knowing that granting a child's wish will bring a ray of sunshine into his life, leaving his illness in the background.
